The OWU Alumni Association and Alumni Relations Office have committed to improving the resources and outreach for young alumni and current students through the recent development of a Young Alumni and Student Relations Coordinator. We have developed a variety of new programs designed to engage each group. Robert "Buzz" Pine '63 returning to campus for Alumni Weeekend '08
Robert Pine is best known for his portrayal of Sergeant Joe Getraer, that wry, no nonsense, by-the-book cop on the long running NBC show, CHiPs.
I will be returning shortly for my 45th reunion. Boy! How a lifetime flies by. Have you noticed that? My wife, Gwynne, and I will be performing (a staged reading actually) a very sweet play called "Love Letters" by A.R. Gurney which was first performed in New York in 1989. For those of you who will be there for that weekend I hope you will come to the Chappelear Theatre at 2pm Saturday the 17th and join us. Meet Rusty McClure '72, Economics Instructor
Rusty McClure '72 has worn a number of hats since arriving on campus in the late 1960's. As a student, Rusty was a member of the track and cross country teams and was a brother of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. Rusty's post OWU entrepreneurial success led him back to campus as guest speaker at the Woltemade Center for Economics, which, in turn, led to his current position at OWU.
