E-mail For Life (EFL) Information

To activate your EFL account (for classes prior to 2004), send an activation request message to alumefl@owu.edu. You will then be notified of your activation, typically within 2 - 3 business days, which will include your username (your name plus your preferred class year ... for example, john.doe.2003@owu.edu) and a temporary password to log in to OWU's EFL WebMail system.

To deactivate your EFL account, you must first remove your forwarding address (if you are forwarding your EFL messages to another e-mail account). Once you have no forwarding address associated with your EFL account, send a deactivation request message to alumefl@owu.edu. You will then be notified of your deactivation, typically within 2 - 3 business days, at which point your EFL account address will be removed from the OWU system.
