OWU Legends Team
As many of you may know, several OWU lacrosse alumni formed the OWU Legends lacrosse team a few years ago. The OWU Legends have established a model that is envied by other institutions: Alumni players forming a team, competing against other lacrosse clubs, but having the sole purpose of supporting the University’s men's lacrosse program.
The Legends compete at the Grand Masters Division (ages 45-50) and Super Grand Masters (ages 50+) at two annual tournaments. The Florida Lacrosse Classic in January and the Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Tournament in August. Additionally, efforts are underway to form two more OWU Lacrosse Legends Tournament teams to compete in other national tournaments. An Elite Division (ages 22-32) and Masters Division (33-44). And always, there is an ongoing effort to recruit additional OWU Alumni lacrosse players for our Grand and Super Grand Masters teams.
