Spring is Here!
(We hope!!)

A few announcements to keep you updated:

Spring Schedule

We begin spring practice today. The winter program was the best in recent years. The team worked very hard physically. Thanks to Drew Kaszubski for helping with the fitness program. The program was challenging and the team really enjoyed the work outs—unlike when Gillanders and Schrader were here! The game dates are:

April 19th – OWU v Akron and Dayton at Akron

April 26th – OWU v Alumni at Roy Rike Field

OWUnited

Thanks to Peter Pak, Matt Schrader, Matt Miller, Reed Welch et.al. for their hard work in developing the OWUnited concept. The Web site is almost up and ready to go. The first event will be the alumni game in April. We hope you can attend.

The First OWUnited Challenge

OWUnited has been invited to play in a 7 v 7 tournament at Northwestern in Chicago. The tournaments is billed as 1st Annual National Alumni Soccer Championships.

The date is June 7th. I will give the contact info to Matt Schrader for dissemination.

Recruiting

After recruiting a great freshman class last year, we are very close to adding quality players for the incoming freshman class. When the class is complete, I will send out more information. Some of you have helped us with this process…thanks to you for contributing to the Ohio Wesleyan Soccer program.
